Cosmopolitan hotel-casino introduces slot donation charity drive

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has become the first resort on the strip to introduce a slot donation charity drive.

Nonprofit organizations will be selected throughout the year. After guests obtain their slot earnings they will be prompted with an option to donate to one of four organizations: Shade Tree, Opportunity Village and Team Rubicon.

“The Cosmopolitan is proud to be the first resort on the Strip to offer what we feel is a compelling opportunity to further connect with our guests who are passionate about a cause close to their heart,” said Kevin Sweet, vice president of slot operations and marketing of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

All profits donated go directly to the organization selected at the slot machine. In the selection process, two charities are selected by the Cosmopolitan and the other two are selected by EveriCares. New organizations can apply for the program at https://casinoscare.org .
